A Major Milestone for VIP Metals: Powering Sustainable Energy in Kenya
In 2025, VIP Metals successfully completed a landmark international project: the fabrication and supply of approximately 450 tons of structural steel for a 35-megawatt geothermal power plant in Kenya.
This large-scale renewable energy project represents a significant achievement for our team and reinforces VIP Metals’ capability to deliver high-volume, precision-engineered structural steel fabrication for complex infrastructure and energy projects. As a key subcontractor, VIP Metals was responsible for the complete fabrication of structural steel components, including welding, finishing, quality control, corrosion protection, packing, and delivery to site. All work was executed in accordance with international standards and stringent quality requirements, resulting in full client acceptance with zero outstanding defects at project close-out.
