To ensure long-term protection against environmental and water-related corrosion, corrosion protection was completed by an approved third-party applicator in accordance with DWS9900 specifications, including: External coating: 350 microns H10 Brilliant Green paint Internal coating: 450 microns Poly-glass lining Quality assurance: coating thickness and adhesion testing to confirm DWS9900 conformity The pipeline was delivered as a complete supply package, with all sections properly tagged, protected, and handled to prevent damage during transport and offloading, supporting smooth site handling and installation readiness. This scope was delivered to ensure safe, convenient operational and maintenance access to elevated pump station areas, aligned with applicable occupational health and safety requirements and built for long-term durability in a damp, corrosive dam environment. VIP Metals successfully fabricated a new stainless-steel structural access platform for the DN1200 Sleeve Valve at Luphephe Dam, providing safe, secure access for ongoing valve maintenance and operational activities.
